At the same time, we want to give you access to Albert, your digital learning platform, and give you the opportunity to save your activities so that you can monitor your progress.

When registering your user account, we ask for your telephone number or an email. We do not collect social security numbers or any sensitive personal information.
You have the option to upload an image to your profile, but it is completely optional. You do not need to upload any image at all, and if you choose to upload an image, you can choose whether it is an image that represents you or something else. However, you are responsible for the rights to the image you upload. You also have the opportunity to enter your name, completely voluntarily, in your alias so that we can give you a more customized user experience.
When you register your account, you provide your payment details or credit card information to our payment provider Stripe (Stripe, Inc.) Through our user interface. For this personal data, Stripe has a responsibility towards you as a user.
When you use our service, we save your interaction with Albert, including exercises that have been visited and solved. We do this to be able to save your current progress, adapt the content to the level of difficulty that suits you best and so that you can start the service in the same place where you ended your last session at a later time.
We use telephone numbers or email addresses to create a user account so that you can log in and save your activities. We may also use information generated in the user profile in aggregate to improve our service. We also may contact you with offers that we think are interesting to you.
We use modern and encrypted information technology, and we have routines to ensure confidentiality.
We store your personal data in various cloud services within and outside the EU/EEA area.
We strive to process personal data only within the EU or within the EEA area. In some cases, it happens that our own servers or those of our partners are located outside the EU or EEA area. In such cases, we initiate processes to enter into special personal data assistant agreements that are adapted to processing outside the EU or the EEA area.
Regardless of where your personal data is processed, we take measures to ensure that your personal data is not processed for purposes other than what has been agreed.
We save your personal data for as long as you use Albert, your digital learning platform, and for two years after the end of your subscription. We use this information to reach customers who have previously used our service with targeted offers and to ask for feedback. If required by law, we may be required to store certain information for a longer period of time, and we may also store information if required to fulfil our agreement with you (in these cases, our processing of your personal information is not based on consent, nor is it possible to withdraw consent).
In certain circumstance, we may share information with our partners that provide services for us, known as third party data. This may include services such as data analysis, marketing services, email and storage services, support, payment services and running customer surveys.
In cases where we transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA area, we only do so under the EU standard agreement clauses or, in the case of the USA, to companies that are self-certified under the Privacy Shield.
You have the right to find out what personal data we process about you, and if any information is incorrect, you have the right to request that it be corrected. You can choose to withdraw your consent at any time, but only for the part of our treatment that is based on consent. In that case, we will delete your user account. We are always open and transparent about how we process your personal data and if you want to gain a deeper insight into which of your personal data we process, you can request access to the data.
You have the right to request that our processing of your personal data be restricted.
You always have the right to avoid marketing and to object to any processing of personal data based on a so-called balancing of interests.
If our right to process your personal data is based either on your consent or fulfilment of an agreement with you, you have the right to request the transfer of the data concerning you that you have provided to us to another personal data controller (data portability). A prerequisite for data portability is that the transfer is technically possible and can be automated.
In some cases, you have the right to have your personal data deleted, e.g. if the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. If the law requires, me may need to save certain information and thus may not delete information.
